From Soto-Snell to Haider… Kim’s colleagues leave the team

San Diego Padres teammates Juan Soto, Blake Snell, and Josh Hader are on the trading block.

“San Diego is listening to trade offers from other teams for Soto, Snell and Heider,” MLB Network’s Jon Heyman reported on Monday.바카라사이트

“Soto is less likely to be traded than Snell and Hader, who are both set to hit free agency, but all options are on the table.” Soto is eligible for free agency after the 2024 season.

Heyman doesn’t see Soto, Snell, or Hader as likely to be traded.

The most valuable piece is superstar Soto. Soto joined San Diego via trade last August. At the time, San Diego emerged as the favorite to win the trade for Soto, beating out stiff competition.

In 103 games this season, Soto is leading the team’s offense with a .262 batting average, 20 home runs, 62 RBIs, and a .918 OPS. He also hit 20 home runs for the third straight year.

But with San Diego (49-54) increasingly distant from fall baseball, Soto could be on the trade market. The Padres are in fourth place in the National League West and the seventh wild-card spot.

USA Today’s Bob Nightingale reported on Nov. 27 that “several teams that have talked to San Diego believe Hader and Snell will be traded. Hader, in particular, is a likely candidate.”

Closer Heider was also acquired by the Padres in a trade last year. In 40 appearances this year, he went 1-0 with 24 saves and a 0.95 ERA.

Snell, who leads the National League in ERA, is one of the league’s top starters. In 21 games this season, he has pitched 114 innings, going 7-8 with a 2.61 ERA.
