Takahashi, who ate a bowl of rice with the national hitter for 4 years, goes out as a Doosan scam pitching instructor

Doosan Bears invites Hisanori Takahashi as a pitching instructor for the 2023 spring camp.

Instructor Takahashi joined the Yomiuri Giants in 2000 and retired in 2015. During his active career, he pitched in 261 games in 12 seasons in Japanese professional baseball, recording 79 wins, 73 losses, 15 saves and 5 holds, and an average ERA of 3.70. 토토사이트

After challenging the major leagues in 2010, he went through the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Angels, recording a 3.99 earned run average with 14 wins, 12 losses, 10 saves and 13 holds in 4 seasons of 168 games.

The invitation to the camp was accomplished through a relationship with director Lee Seung-yeop. Doosan coach Lee Seung-yeop and instructor Takahashi ate together for four years from 2006 at Yomiuri, a Japanese professional baseball team. Head coach Lee Seung-yeop said, “I hope that Takahashi, who has been selected and bullpened in both the US and Japan, will be of great help to the young left-hander.”

Instructor Takahashi will join Doosan’s spring camp in Australia on February 8 and will teach pitchers for about two weeks.
