NBA’s top forward Kevin Durant (35) will change his uniform to the Phoenix Suns.
ESPN, an American sports media, quoted a league official on the 9th (Korean time) and said, “Instead of Durant and forward TJ Warren going to Phoenix, Brooklyn has Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Jay Crowder, four rookie first-round picks스포츠토토, We are promoting a trade to receive one nomination ticket exchange ticket.”
The rookie first-round nomination rights pass over this year and the rookie nomination rights for 2025, 2027, and 2029. In Brooklyn, events can be held freely without any restrictions. No official announcement has yet been made from the Brooklyn and Phoenix clubs.
Durant, who made his NBA debut through the Seattle SuperSonics (currently Oklahoma City Thunder) in 2007 with the second overall pick, is considered one of the best stars along with LeBron James (LA Lakers). He has achieved all the achievements that can be achieved as a player, such as 1 regular league MVP, 2 championships, 2 championship MVPs, 6 best 5s, and 13 all-stars.
Durant, who played for the Golden State Warriors from 2016 to 2019 and won two championships with Stephen Curry, moved to Brooklyn after the 2018-19 season. He did not hide his will to win the championship by being the center of himself in Brooklyn.
But in Brooklyn, Durant wasn’t having an easy time. He still had great skills, but he had no teammates. Kyrie Irving, who wanted to be Durant’s helper, constantly caused problems outside of the game, such as controversy over not being vaccinated against Corona 19.
Still, this season wasn’t bad. Durant showed off his unchanging presence by averaging 29.7 points and 6.7 rebounds in 39 games. Irving also did his part with fewer accidents and an average of 27.1 points. With Durant and Irving playing their part, Brooklyn was 32-22, 6th in the Eastern Conference.
However, the team’s situation began to fluctuate again when Irving, the team’s core power, again caused friction with the club’s leadership over the contract period and demanded a trade. After all, Irving recently moved to the Dallas Mavericks, which also affected Durant’s future.
Phoenix is a team that was mentioned as one of the potential destinations when Durant asked for a trade last summer. The NBA’s strongest guard duo, Chris Paul and Devin Booker, are holding on, and center DeAndre Ayton is guarding the bottom of the goal. They are currently 5th in the Western Conference with a record of 30-26.
Phoenix advanced to the NBA Finals after 28 years in the 2020-21 season, but was pushed back by the Milwaukee Bucks led by’Greek Monster’ Giannis Antetokounmpo and bowed at the threshold of the championship. If Durant joins from the current power, it is expected that he will immediately emerge as the ‘0 ranking’ for the championship.
